Przydatność metod proponowanych do wykorzystania w analizie czasu poszukiwania zatrudnienia została zweryfikowana na przykładzie analizy rzeczywistych danych dotyczących czasu pozostawania bez pracy przez osoby zarejestrowane jako bezrobotne i zamieszkujące powiat wrocławski. Celem artykułu jest identyfikacja oraz określenie istotności kompetencji oczekiwanych przez pracodawców od pracowników w działach HR. Do tej pory brak jest wszechstronnej analizy długości okresu pozostawania bez pracy, problemów związanych z tym okresem oraz procesem znajdowania zatrudnienia. Do analizy wykorzystano metodę automatycznej analizy ofert zatrudnienia opartą na algorytmie ukrytej alokacji Dirichleta. Sam kiedyś będąc osoba zainteresowaną znalezieniem pracy zauważyłem, iż taki system mógłby być przydatny w poszukiwaniu zatrudnienia. According to these theories, inequalities are determined by: professional segregation, intentional wage discrimination resulting from the propensity to discriminate observed among employers, employees and clients of the dominant group, poorer human capital resources of certain social groups, diversified levels of individual abilities, skills and qualifications, employers’ belief in lower productivity of certain social groups, the cost of information about the suitability of job applicants, the cost of fluctuations, limited spatial mobility of women due to their social roles, self-selection and misplacement of employees in jobs.


The author focuses on the hypothesis of crowding in several occupations, the theory of discrimination, the human capital theory, the theory of information cost, labour market signaling theory, the limited spatial mobility of women hypothesis and Rosen’s model of discrimination. Being concerned about the large scale of this phenomenon the author seeks its relations, both with the quality of studying and with the preparation of graduates to meet the challenges of the labor market. The author emphasizes however, that in addition to remuneration, which was previously the main reason for taking up a job by students, work experience facilitating employment after graduation comes to the fore. Thought that the reason of her absents in the main stream literature was because of her brave in writing about women’s experience. The most worrying fact is that the majority of unemployed people are young people. The most expensive and least effective in this regard are public jobs. This situation can result in the increase of the rate of the long - lasting unemployment. The aim of the thesis is to present the problem of unemployment in the county of Gorlice in years 2007-2011 and to assess the activity of the County Employment Office towards counteracting and preventing this phenomenon.


The county of Gorlice is characterized by the highest unemployment in Małopolska province. Situation into the labor market in the district of Nowy Sącz has been changing all the time, many investors decides to create new places of work because of great localization this county. The results of studies showed that the inhabitants of the district nowosądecki are poorly informed in the offerings PUP. Empirical study were conducted in the district of Nowy Sącz from July to August 2011. On the questionnaire survey answered 50 people (all respondents were adults). A survey conducted among 40 graduates from across the swiętokrzyskie region has indicated that the respondents’ participation in the local labor market is primarily expressed through searching for employment and participating in job interviews. Quantitative research conducted in a group of employers pointed to the missing graduates of various fields of study skills. The outcome of unemployment has affected both employees as a social group and local communities. They do not necessarily reflect the views and opinions of the Shell group and its affiliates.
